How to Get THere
Located in the spectacular Coast Mountains of British Columbia, Whistler is just a two hour drive from Vancouver along the scenic Sea to Sky highway, and a five hour trip from Seattle, WA. You can travel to the Westin Resort & Spa Whistler easily by air, train, or bus with direct connections from Vancouver International Airport (YVR). Listed below are two of the many options available to you.
Pacific Coach Lines
Direct Service: Vancouver International Airport (YVR) to/from Whistler Village
Pacific Coach Lines offers multiple departure times daily from Vancouver Airport to Whistler, providing door-to-door service from the airport to your Whistler accommodations. The Pacific Coach Lines check-in desk for Whistler departures is located in YVR immediately after you clear customs. The duration of the trip is approximately three hours.
Reservations are mandatory to use this service. You can book your pick-up and drop-off reservations online, by email or by telephone at 604.662.7575 or 1.800.661.1725. Be sure to enter promo code SAFE09 to take advantage of the special rate ($45 plus taxes one-way) that we've negotiated for FME International User Conference attendees. The reservations centre is open from 6am to 10pm PST, 7 days a week.
Once you have made a reservation with Pacific Coast Lines, you'll receive an electronic confirmation which you must present to a Pacific Coach Lines agent at their ticket counter in the airport prior to boarding. Please print a copy of this confirmation and bring it with you.
Greyhound
Direct Service: Vancouver (Pacific Central Station) to/from Whistler Village
Greyhound offers nine round trips each day between Vancouver and Whistler Village. The Vancouver Greyhound terminal is located at Pacific Central Station, next to the public transit Main Street Skytrain Station. The Whistler Village bus stop is located across from the Westin Whistler Resort & Spa. Ticket prices range from approximately $30 - $50 round trip.
To view the daily schedule, visit greyhound.ca. Tickets can be purchased online, over the phone at 604.932.5031, or upon arrival at a Greyhound terminal. While no reservations are necessary, they are recommended. If not making a reservation, it is best to arrive at the terminal a minimum of 30 minutes prior to departure to purchase your ticket and tag your luggage. Assigned seating is not available; seating is provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
